Before we start asking for your details, we need to be sure you are happy with and can agree with our Code of Conduct, Data Protection and Privacy Policies.

The basic membership subscription is £12 per annum, running from the 1st of August to the 31st of July. Memberships ordinarily need to be renewed on the 1st of August each year, except if someone joins after May 1st that membership will be valid until the 31st of July the following year.
One option may be added to the basic membership:
Shaftesbury and Gillingham u3a publishes "In Touch", a monthly newsletter which is delivered free by email, but if you wish to receive a printed copy, either collected at a Monthly Meeting or posted to you, there is a charge of £3.00 per membership year.
Please note however that the later you join in the membership year the fewer copies you may receive.

We accept 3 methods of payment:
By BACS to: "Shaftesbury and Gillingham U3A" Sort Code 30-99-08 Account Number 22925860. Please use your name and postcode as a reference.
Cheque made out to "Shaftesbury and Gillingham U3A" and posted to U3A Membership Secretary, 9 Peacemarsh Farm Close, Gillingham SP8 4XQ. Please write your name and postcode on the back of the cheque.
Cheque or Cash (Right Money Please!) brought to the next Monthly Meeting. Bear in mind you won't actually be a member until payment has been made.

If you pay income tax or capital gains tax on your income you can boost your donation by 25p of Gift Aid for each £1 you donate.
Gift Aid is reclaimed by Shaftesbury and Gillingham U3A from the tax you pay for the current tax year.
